A month from now I will begin to share in this pleasure of everything being reborn but until then, I'll just have to visit here and imagine. Dear Merlin with his tuxedo on and his quick look up at you to see what you're up to when he should be watching things.

Merlin is handsome! We used to have a grey and white cat called Oliver - I referred to his white parts as his shirt, gloves and spats (maybe there are some people reading this who mightn't remember spats for elegant gentlemen - they kept their shoes from being splashed with water and mud)! Jesting apart, the flowers and blossom are truly harbingers of spring.

Your garden is looking lovely, is that Jew's Mallow in the background of the tulips? I don't have it in my own garden but like seeing it in other peoples. Merlin looks as though he's settled nicely in his new home.
